ECOrinne Construction team at a sustainable build site

About ECOrinne

Built on Conviction

ECOrinne was founded on a simple belief: that every homeowner deserves a sustainable, healthy, zero-waste home — not just the ones with unlimited budgets.

Our Story

Our Story

ECOrinne Construction was founded in 2011 by a team of engineers and builders who had spent years watching sustainable design principles get value-engineered out of residential projects at the last minute. We started the company to prove that every homeowner deserves a truly eco-friendly home — not just the ones with unlimited budgets.

Over the past few years, we've completed 6 residential projects across Oregon and Washington — custom homes, passive houses, whole-home retrofits, and a residential development. On average, 60% of our material budget goes to reclaimed, salvaged, or recycled products, and we divert 95% of construction waste from landfill on every job site.

Today, ECOrinne is a small, dedicated team of architects, engineers, project managers, and field crews who share a common standard. We measure our success in kilowatt-hours saved, tons of carbon avoided, pounds of waste diverted, and homes that families will still be living in — and loving — in 2075.

Mission

To make sustainable residential construction the default — not the exception — by proving that reclaimed materials, recycled products, and zero-waste job sites deliver better homes and better value for every homeowner.

Values

What We Stand For

Reclaimed First

Before we specify anything new, we look for reclaimed and salvaged materials. It reduces embodied carbon, supports local deconstruction economies, and produces buildings with genuine character.

Zero Waste

We track every waste stream on every job site. Our 95% landfill diversion rate isn't a marketing claim — it's a contractual commitment backed by monthly reporting.

Verified Eco Products

Zero-VOC paints, recycled-content flooring, plant-based and mineral wool insulation, reclaimed timber — every product is backed by an EPD, Declare label, or Health Product Declaration. We don't accept greenwashing from suppliers, and we don't practice it ourselves.

Craft That Lasts

Sustainable construction done right means buildings that perform for decades. We build things that last — because the most eco-friendly building is one that never needs to be torn down.
